Jason Hughes is the founder, owner, CEO, and Chairman of Hughes Marino, which is a company based in San Diego. Founded in 2011, the company provides tenant and buyer representation to commercial clients. Hughes Marino representation firm is among the first of its kind company that assists clients with building, buying, and leasing commercial space. 

 

Jason Hughes and his wife Shay have co-managed the company for almost three decades and have seen it grow to become the largest buyer and tenant representation business in the area. Since the inception of the lease administration company in 2011,the CEO and Shay have expanded their operations beyond San Diego to cover other parts of the West Coast. Jason Hughes also attended the University of San Diego, where he attained a Master of Business Administration. Despite the two college degrees, the successful CEO and serial entrepreneur has returned multiple times to academics and completed executive training programs at Harvard University, the University of California, and the University of California, San Diego. 

 

After graduating from Pepperdine University, he was employed at Cushman & Wakefield in Los Angeles before moving back to San Diego to start Hughes Marino. With over thirty years of experience, Jason Hughes has been involved in built-to-suit developments, participating in loan structuring and sizable corporate purchases.

Jason Hughes also specializes in contract and expansion negotiations, and early negotiations. His lease administration and advisory expertise have attracted attention to him in California and beyond. This has led him to appear on several television programs and various publications such as Huffington Post, Hatch, Wall Street Journal, and C-Suite Quarterly have featured articles that he has written.
